When we reach our retirement age, our work career ceases, and we are forced out to retirement. Some thinks that it is the end of everything, and even life. This make us grieve, and sometimes cannot bear the loss, that we never thought that we will come to this phase in life, specially when it is far cry from the dreams of what retirement will be like. Then we will come to false relativity that we loss our importance and therefore, life isn't that worth living.


Not planning properly is one reason for this. Planning is a critical stage to make the future easier to cope up with that having it without. This will enable us to prepare for retirement and compute our personal savings or retirement plans to be able to have a secure retirement benefits. Plan ahead and make it something to look forward to. A new stage in life, a new door opening.


Retirement may fall short, if your financial situation is not enough for what you want retirement to be, if you feel bored or like if you have no sense or purpose. The outright tendency is to let depression creep up and worsen the condition.


Depression comes in our life and its effect to us depends on how we approach depression. Grieving may help in for a short term but it is necessary in the long run.


It is very vital that aside from establishing a good financial standing before retirement, you realized that you can still do things to contribute to your life. Allow ample time to be at peace with yourself, relax and know that you deserve to take some recreation time.


Sometimes, having a work career, deprives us to allot time to our family and to ourself. It would be the best time to spend time with them and to yourself and have holiday retirement.


The very best way to get a boost is to try something new. Get into sports, travel to places you want to and make use of time leisurely. However, if any untoward incident happens like unplanned illness or loss o spouse, you may consider other options

Retirement from does not mean that you also retire from life. Retirement living means having to thank for the new change and most importantly, living your life regardless of what happens.
